Southern Arizona Research Sources with an Emphasis on Pima County

For an overview of sources available, please read Genealogical Research in Southern Arizona. The main sources listed here are libraries, the city of Tucson, Pima County, and a couple of general tourist information sites. If you are unable to visit Arizona, ASGS can offer some Assistance for Arizona Research.

The AZGenWeb (part of the USGenWeb) also offers sources of information for people researching names in Arizona. Individual county pages offer an exchange forum (queries, surnames, and lookups) for people researching a particular area and information about the county and the resources available there.

Marriage and divorce records are available from the Clerk of Superior Court in the county where the marriage license was obtained or the divorce was granted. Information for obtaining vital record information from the Pima County Clerk's Office is found here.
