The Allen County Public Library is as large as the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. U.S. GovernmentPresently offline: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), General Land Office (GLO) Records Automation web site http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/ allows you to search the land title records for Eastern Public Land States, issued between 1820 and 1908. Some images of Serial patents, issued between 1908 and the mid-1960's are on this web site. The Genealogy page for the National Archives Records Administration (NARA) provides finding aids, guides, and research tools that can prepare you for a visit to one of their facilities or for requesting records from NARA.
