Family Tree Planting A knock came at my Uncle's door. It was a member of the Historical Society of Wyong, Bluey Garland. He asked, "Are you Ronald Williams, brother of Thelma Williams and was your father William Henry Williams?" Uncle Ronnie answered that he was and Bluey then told him that they were going to be planting some trees for the Pioneers of Wyong from the 1800's and wanted to know if Ronnie would like to plant one for his father. My mum who is Thelma Powell 'nee Williams was staying with my sister Kerrie at Gosford when Uncle Ronnie told her the news. We were all so excited and thrilled. I was not able to attend the planting ceremony myself but Uncle Ronnie, his children and grandchildren, his wife Joan, Mum and Kerrie's family all attended the ceremony on Saturday 28th March 1998 It will be a date the family will look upon and remember with great pride and in loving memory of a Father, Grandfather, Great-grandfather and Great-great-grandfather.
