I am looking for a John HARDY/HARDEE/HARDIE who would have entered Australia  1858-1865 or so. He would be my ggg-grandfather. He was from Scotland and got my ggg-grandmother pregnant (unmarried) and then was said to have gone to Australia (either voluntarily or not) and sent money to Margaret Shaw, the mother of his son John Hardy. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
