Throughout the year the Mildura and District
Genealogical Society holds a number of sessions to help people with
skills to assist them with their
family history, record keeping, use of our library, preserving
documents/photos and other special interests that may be required from
time to time.
The Mildura and District Genealogical Society has 2 special interest
groups operating. Both of these are computer based family history
programs which enable members to store and arrange their family history
records. These programs enable users to keep track of all the
details, sourcing, different types of documentation and images that they
have in their collection and any updating of the records can be achieved
in a matter of minutes. Numerous reports and books with name indexing can
also be produced.
We currently have the following groups running from Feb -
Nov.
1. Family tree maker - due to lack
of attendance meetings have been discontinued.
2. Legacy tree maker- due to
lack of attendance meetings have been discontinued.
