The Society was founded on the 16th of February 1993
Aims
- to promote genealogy and family history
- to assist and encourage people to research record and disseminate their family histories
- to establish, maintain and update a library of genealogical resources which members can use within their family history research.
Meetings and Events
Open Day third Saturday of the month 10am to 4pm
Executive meeting - first Sunday of the month 1pm - 2pm
General meeting - first Sunday of the month - starting at 2pm (except December and January)
84 Bank Street, Port Fairy (cnr Banks Street & Princes Highway)
Other activities
opening the lighthouse, cemetery walks, markets etc.
