Flag Cutting Demonstration

The Flag of the United States of America Committee

The principle objectives of this committee are to keep the flag flying, to protect it continuously under all conditions, and to educate citizens regarding its correct usage.

Each year El Presidio Chapter collects worn flags. Throughout the year members ready the flags for a Flag Retirement Ceremony which is usually held in February.

Pinning a New Citizen

Welcome New Citizens Committee

The El Presidio Chapter is pleased to honor our newest citizens by attending their naturalization ceremony and pinning them with a United States of America label pin. In this photo, Mary Ellen Druckenbrod (left) pins a proud new naturalized American citizen.
