If you are here for Genealogy or History of Greenlee County, then Welcome!! This site is available for adoption, if you are interested in adopting Greenlee Co., please email the State Coordinator. Please look around, place queries on the query board (little box with the puzzle piece on it), ALWAYS feel free to submit your family histories, group sheets, or pictures. This site grows from researchers donating. This way you are helping other researchers, and you may find a distant cousin or two or three.........
Make sure to check the whole page for resources and links. I cannot do lookups, as I do not live in the county. I also do not have anyone's family history. Please do email asking for your family history or what information I have for your family, what you see here is what I have.
What's New???

it also!

Greenlee County was created in 1909 and named for Mason (Masin) Greenlee who was an early settler in the Clifton area. It was Arizona's 14th county and formed from part of Graham County, who opposed the formation because Graham County would lose considerable revenue. Clifton has always been the county seat. Greenlee County covers over 1800 square miles. From the beautiful desert at the southern tip to the high alpine country at Hanagan Meadow at 8000+ feet, the drive up the Coronado Trail is spectacular. Allow 4 hours to properly appreciate. Do lots of stopping. Enjoy |
