William Charles Eble, 82, died June 23, 1978, in the Royal Nursing Home. Mr. Eble was a tool and die maker in Chicago and Detroit before moving to Phoenix in 1945. Ollie Mae Edwards, 86, of Surprise, who came to Arizona in 1927, died April 20, 1978, in a Valley hospital. Daughters, Mary Gore, Frankie Williams, Jennie Baker, Alma Burton of Dinuba, CA, Jeane Craig, Peoria, AZ, and Betty Boykin, Junction City, Oregon; sons, Francis of Veniza, Oregon, and Lawrence of Flagstaff; a sister; a brother; 31 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Ambrost Ellis, 76, a retired janitor, died June 22, 1978. He moved here in 1951 from Arkansas. Wife, Lizzie; children, Helen McKelvey, Lillie Robinson, Jewel Scroggins, Elizabeth Gilliard, Virginia, Betty Jean, Dossie, Kenneth and Ambrose; 50 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. A wake for Jonathan Enas, 50, was Friday in the Salt River Indian Reservation Assembly of God Church on Extension Road. Services were Saturday in the church. Mr. Enas, a laborer who served in the Army in World War II, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1976, in Phoenix Indian Medical Center. Survivors include his wife, Frances; children, Brenda, Noreen, Doreen, Marilyn and Burleigh; father, John Enas; a brother; and two grandchildren. Camelback Sunset Chapel handled arrangements. Memorial services for Josephine Enos, 67, who died April 13, 1978, at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center, were at the Stotonic Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Enos, born in Sacaton, was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Frank G.; children, Marvin and Permelia and Verna Marrietta. Arizona Burial-Cremation-Transportation Service made arrangements.
