Awards
Yuma Chapter makes the following awards in our area:
Community Service Award
This award recognizes local people for efforts in a variety of educational, patriotic, historical, environmental conservation, or citizenship areas. Their contributions must have been voluntary.
Junior American Citizens
Members of the Chapter visit elementary classes, speaking to the children about our ancestors who fought for our freedoms, about their parents who are currently doing this, our flag, what it represents and how to salute it. Children are awarded badges to wear and Junior American Citizen cards to show their parents.
Outstanding Teacher in American History
Nominations are made at the chapter level for awards by the Arizona Daughters of the American Revolution.
