FRANK LOVE, Arizona Historian has the following items: 1. The Arizona Newspaper Project. A list of all the Arizona Newspapers still in existence, their locations, and the dates they cover. 2. The Arizona City (Yuma) Census of 1860. (This is barely legible. Some names and occupations can be read, but others cannot. 3. The 1864 Census of Yuma County, the Colorado District. This is fairly legible, but I'm not sure it is dark enough to be scanned. I'm not certain whether the term "Colorado District" means the entire county or just the areas along the Colorado River. It contains 1,157 names. 4. The 1870 Census of Arizona City (Yuma), A to T only. (When photocopied, did not get the last page.) 5. Pioneer genealogical file through the Century House Museum; docent volunteer. 6. Access to the "Great Registers" (voting lists) for 1898 and 1910 at the Century House. 7. Access to columns written for the Yuma Daily Sun for the
past eight (8) years. Can find a name if I know the year or years to search;
always providing it is in one of the columns. |
