- I first got interested in genealogy a couple of years ago when my daughter
(then in the 8th grade) had to choose a career and research what that career
entailed. Not wanting to choose anything too traditional she choose genealogy.
Later that year I reached a milestone on a consulting project and decided
I had been working far too many hours. During a family vacation I came
across some information on my wife's family and that of my paternal grandmother.
I decided to enter this new found information into a genealogy program
in my spare time rather than work 70-100 hours a week. As I explored around
Compuserve, Progidy and Internet I became more and more involved. Since
that time I've found a store of information, ancestors for both my wife's
family and my own and numerous cousins.
