In the Dominion Electoral District of Cariboo-Lillooet, and Provincial of Cariboo.   Post office on the Cariboo wagon road 85 miles from Quesnelle, mails once a week, nearest railway station, Ashcroft on the C.P.R., distance 185 miles. Telegraph and express office, Soda Creek, distance 18 miles. Banking town, Kamloops, 220 miles. Steamboat landing on the Fraser river, distance 1 mile.  It is reached by stage from Ashcroft, fare $33,  also by Fraser river steamers.  Farming and stock raising form the principal industries.
