Alexis Creek: A post office and cattle raising district at the junction of Alexis Creek and Chilcoten River, 18 miles northwest of Hanceville, in Cariboo Provincial Electoral District, reached by stage from Clinton, on the P.G.E. Ry., distance 186 miles. Alexis Creek has telephone office and Government Telegraph office. Anglican Church and R.C. Mission. Population 50. Local resources: cattle raising and hay.
