Cache Creek Valley, in the electoral District of Yale is situated on the Cariboo Wagon road, six miles from Ashcroft, far $1. Nearest railway station, telegraph and express office, Ashcroft. All stages running from Ashcroft to Barkerville pass through the centre of the valley. It is almost entirely devoted to agriculture, some of the best farms in British Columbia being found here. The Bonnaparte Valley is settled as far as 124 Mile House when the Cariboo wagon road turns off Northwest. (see also Bonnaparte Valley).
