Quesnelle is situated at the confluence of the Quesnelle and Fraser rivers, in the Dominion Electoral Distrcit of Yale-Cariboo and Provincial of Criboo, and is reached by weekly stage from Ashcroft station on the C.P.R., distance 225 miles.  Mails weekly, has a telegraph and express office.
