ABOUT US:

The Prince Rupert Genealogy Club is a non-profit, non-denominational club formed in 1990 by a group of people who were interested in researching their family roots.  The club provides a venue where people who are interested in genealogical research can meet, discuss, and share information and ideas for researching their family history.  The club has a small genealogical library, research aids, fiche and disks which may be borrowed by members.  We have an associate membership with British Columbia Genealogical Society allowing us access to their Vancouver facilities and services.

MEETINGS:

The club meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. (except July and August) in the Family History Centre of the Church of Latter-day Saints at 1225 Prince George St., Prince Rupert, B.C.  The Family History Centre; with computers, microfiche and film readers, is available every Tuesday evening - with a phone call to ensure opening.
