The Powell River Genealogy Group formed in 1980 to provide an opportunity for communication and information exchange to residents wishing to trace their family history.

We are non-profit and our purpose is to obtain source materials of a specialized nature, otherwise not available locally, and help interested persons beging their own research.

Meetings are held on the last Sunday of each month (except July, August and December) at Cranberry Centre, 6792 Cranberry Street, at 7:00 pm in the main hall.
