The South Okanagan Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization whose purposes are:

To encourage genealogical research

To collect and preserve information and material relevant to genealogical research

To publish and distribute information relevant to genealogical research.


	Penticton is located in Southern British Columbia, Canada in the centre of the Okanagan Valley. The city is situated between two lakes and has mountains on the east and west sides of the city. This fertile valley produces a large variety of soft fruit, grapes and apples and is home to a growing wine industry.
