Katherine Beattie Lindeke Lukoskie, 88, of Boulder died Friday 19 June 2009 at her residence.

She was born on November 3, 1920, in Seattle, Washington, to Della Boyle Beattie and Simon Kenneth Beattie. She attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. She married C. Bruce Lindeke in Hollywood, California, 4 September 1942. He died in 1981 in Boulder. She later married Martin J. Lukoskie in Ocean City, Maryland, on 3 March 1984. He died in 2008 in Boulder.

She was active in many organizations: Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, Boulder Community Hospital Auxiliary, Boulder Country Club, Boulder Forum Republican Women, Boulder Genealogical Society, Boulder Museum of History, Colonial Dames of America in Colorado, Colonial Dames XVII Century, Daughters of Colonial Wars, Daughters of American Colonists, Devils Thumb Study Club, Fortnightly Club, Historic Boulder, National Charity League, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Arapahoe Chapter), P & G Investment Club, Sierra Club, and the YMCA Board.

She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Boulder.

She was President of Bolind, Inc. since 1981, a mail order company. She and her husband moved Bolind, Inc. to Boulder in 1960.

She enjoyed researching and cataloging all of the old cemeteries and old burials in Boulder County and traveling worldwide.

Children are Bruce F. Lindeke of Boulder, CO, a foster son, James D. Clamon of Thornton, CO. Grandchildren are Kimberly C. Ray of Beaverton, OR, David Bruce Ray of Beaverton, OR, Nina Katherine Lindeke of Thornton, CO, Grace Caroline Lindeke of San Diego, CA, Amanda Jane Lindeke of Denver, CO, and Alexander James Lindeke of Boulder, CO, a great grand daughter India Rose of Thornton, CO. A daughter, Christine Lindeke Ray and a grandson, Jesse Bruce Lindeke preceded her in death.

A visitation was held 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 26th at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 3300 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, CO. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception at the church.
