Linda Jonas is co-author (with Paul Milner) of two books on British research: A Genealogist’s Guide to Discovering Your English Ancestors and A Genealogist’s Guide to Discovering Your Scottish Ancestors. Past President of BIFHS-USA, Linda has also served as supervisor, staff trainer, and instructor at the Los Angeles Family History Center, which holds the largest British Isles resource collection outside of Salt Lake City. She is a popular lecturer and writer on all aspects of U.S. and British Isles research. A family move to Virginia made it possible for her to realize her dream of researching Colonial records. Linda is currently Director of the McLean, Virginia Family History Center.
