- Ancestors in the King's Service (researching English, Irish, Scots, & Welsh ancestors who were in government service in the 18th & 19th centuries)
- Names Lists of the 16th to 18th Centuries
- Finding Your Immigrant Ancestor (including realistic possibilities of tracing medieval ancestry)

- On Thursday 7 August (1:30-3:15), hear Michael Gandy speak in San Diego — on Puritans, Quakers, and Huguenots.
- On Friday 8 August (1:00-4:00), you can go to the LARFHC and get help with your research from BIFHS–USA members Nancy Ellen Carlberg (Colonial), Don Hirst (English), Kay Ronald Devonshire (Scottish and Isle of Wight), Annie Lloyd (Welsh), and Jim McNamara (Irish).
