At a Councell held at St Georges May the 12th 1687.

Ordered that Col Coney be at the next Councell to make good Mr Samiles his mitimus. As
likewise to have notice that severall complaints is brought against him which will then be heard. Upon the petition of Joseph West to be releast of a bond with forfitures which Col Cony bound him
not to depart these islands without his order. He the said West being formerly one of Capt Bartholomew Sharp's men appearing to the Governor and Counsell that Capt Sharp hath been tryd at Nevis(?) and heard,
therefore they thought goo to grant the said Wests petition. Ordered by the Court that Mr James Smailes be inlarged as to the execution he now lies under of Capt John England. And the Governor did then nominate Mr Willm Greene, Mr Thomas Outerbridge, and Mr Charles Walker.
