deposition before His Majesty's Council, 20 August 1686
The declaracon of John Tucker aged about 40 years saith that in or about the month of March 1683/4 being about ye time of the Assembly setting there was handed to ye Councell board severall articles exhibited agt Mr Henry Durham signd by Willm Righton Senr wch said articles I, ye said depont being then Secretie, read in ye presence of ye Rt Honble Coll Richd Cony, GoverE & the Councell (or part thereof) and to ye best of my remembrance there was noe order or determinacon made upon ye sd articles by ye GoverE & Councell & furhter saith not.
