in Pembroke, on Wed evening last, Mrs John Cox, a daughter

Died:

in Devonshire, on Fri morning last, Mrs Elizabeth Durham, mother of William Durham, Esqr, of St Vincent. at the advanced age of 99 Years.
at New York, on the 13th ultimo, after a painful confinement of several months, which he sustained with exemplary patience and resignation, Tudor Tucker, Esq, of these islands, a gentleman whose virtues had endeared him to his connexions and friends, and whose death is much regretted by all who knew him.

The anniversary of the Bermuda Auxiliary Wesleyan Missionary Society was held in Zion Chapel on Thursday last, Thomas S Tuzo Esq in the chair... The Rev Mr Barry... The Rev Mr Richardson... Mr Hroos... Mr Smith made a pathetic appeal to the congregation on the subject of his departure to Nova Scotia as a Wesleyan missionary

adv: the schooner Margaret, Samuel darrell, master, will sail on or about the 22nd instant, for Baltimore, to take a cargo thence to Bermuda via Halifax... apply at the stores of Thomas R Tucker, Hamilton, or to Walter White, Port Royal. The good qualities of this vessel are evinced, in being employed between Baltimore and this place through the winter, in having made quick and safe passages, and delivered her cargoes in ggod order.

Captain Pitts, of the schooner Mahone Bay Packet, which arrived here on Tuesday last, states that the packet, 25 days from England, with the mail for March, arrived at Halifax on last Thursday morning, a few hours before he left that port. He also states that it was currently reported in the Town, and generally believed, at the moment of his departure, that the Packet had brought information of a declaration of war having been made by france against the United States of America

Death of Mr Henry Hunt- Died on Friday at Alresford, age 63, Henry Hunt Esq, late M P for Preston. Mr Hunt was seized... by a violent attack of paralysis... Mr Hunt was lord of the manor of Glastonbury, in Somerset, and possessed some property in the city of Bath as well as in the vicinity of Bristol. He had been bred a farmer in Somerset, and was afterward a brewer in Bristol, and during the last 25 years had been a radical reformer. He died possessed of but a small property, which falls to his son Thomas, who is an emigrant farmer in North America. His son Henry lately married a lady named Vince, at Petworth, in Sussex-- London Packet, Feb 16.
