In 1840 the family was living in Henry Co., Alabama [3]. By 1860 Allen and Mary Goodson Fort had moved to Marion County, Florida [2]. They appear in the 1870 census of Marion County as well.

Allen Fort and Mary Goodson both died in Marion Co., Florida after 1870.
