Family of Thomas Goodson and Sarah Jenkins


Thomas Goodson was born about 1762. He served in the Revolution at the rank of Private in South Carolina. He was present at the battle of Wadboo and the siege of Charleston.[1]

He married Sarah Jenkins in 1782.[2]

Thomas appears to have spent his adult life in the area of Black Creek in Darlington Co., South Carolina.[3] He died there in 1840.
