that David Rounsavell, b.1735 NJ (var. spell. is father of Amos
Rounsavell, b. 1769 NC. It would be most helpful if authors of genealogoy
books DOCUMENT where they find information. My gr. aunt BURNED two
trunks full of documents, deeds, letters, including 5 Family Bibles. My
heritage, lost!
This family was on Col John Donaldson's "Flotilla" to what is now Tenn.
1779/80. Very few records were kept on the frontier. Please encourage
authors to document where they find information. Thank you.

get. I am looking for any information on the parents of James Thomas
Harrington thought to be born around Tallapoosa, Ga Aug 4, 1876. His
father was called by "Berry" or "Barry" Harrington. This could have been
a nickname. His mother was Mary Elizabeth Golden. His father abandoned
them and she later remarried a Mr. Walker. She came to Alabama to live
and had 2 more children Chester Walker and Lily Walker.

using it shortly. I am in search of the Luck family, originating in
Charlottesville Virginia (White Hall, Albemarle County) I know they go
back to the 1860's with 3 brothers and a sister, all freed slaves.
Mariah is their mother, from Australia. Some of the surnames are;
JOHNSON, POINDEXTER, PENNEFEATHER and others I can't recall. Also, on my

family emigrated from Germany to Holland in the late 18th century. They
came to the US in 1907. I traced them back to the first emigration, but
then found some frustrating confusion re the Cleber name. I have since
found another line of Clebers in the US and will try and trace them to
see if (1) we are related and (2) if the riddle of my last name can be
