Message:Was looking for McIntosh Indian = and Lady in
White Ghost (has heard and seen both)...mother was a Hoke from
Georgia....descended from Jefferson Davis line (Warfields, Hammonds,
Griffiths, Davis) and this book is sealed with a Royal Crown, possibly a
signet ring, which carried family tree information descending from
Nicolas Welsh, etc. And, just because they fought in the Confederacy and
still flew the flag, did not mean they did not fight in the Revolutionary
War.....In Columbus myt mother (Ohio) moved across from the one cemetary
she loved - the Confederate Cemetary on Sullivant Avenue. In June she
would place white roses over the sites as she grew roses. She hated
Sherman and Lincoln and loved Aaron Burr. I was the only kid in my glass
with a Grey Hat during the early 60 period. thanks....loved our
site....am going deeper into it now. My father was a Fitzgerald,
Neville, Walsh, and a Fleming. Want to know more of the Wind Clan.....

gggGrandaughter of William LEWIS (b 2 Nov 1790 of Trenton, NJ.) & Mary
STITES (b. 1 Jan 1789 Trumbull CO., OH), whose families were very early
settlers in Ohio & Illinois. William owned a large farm in what later
became Clinton County and is listed in the first census in 1825. He came
from Trenton, NJ. He later subdivided his property and laid out the town
of Trenton, naming it for his home-town in New Jersey. Have copies of our
family portraits of William & Mary Lewis, and early duguerreotype photos
of some of their children, plus historical info from our family records.
Other surnames related to this family are: STITES, BROWN, GIRD, KNAPP,
LOCKWOOD, KINSLEY, & DUNCAN. William's father is thought to be Edward
Lewis, with a LEWIS> LEWIS> LEWIS, to George LEWIS ancestry. Seeking to

family went to Beaver Dam WI Circa 1841. Further seeking info on Harry
Pierson Young b. circa 1850 W VA, wife Alice B. Slack B. Circa 1850's in
the area of Delaware Co. PA, and DE (The Crescent) one known child,
Charles Cortland Young b. DE 1883. The family possibly resided in the NY
Area, and then in the PA-DE area in the late 1800's.Charles went to WI in
