It is the life work of The Rev Fr Christian Denissen who died in 1931, and published in book form in 1976 by the DSGR as a bicentennial project. After 1907, burial records were kept on file cards, which can been seen at the cemetery office in Pontiac, Michigan. (Only one of three books for this cemetery). KA2

This book was reprinted and distributed by the Oakland County Genealogical Society in 2002. Oak Hill Cemetery was given to the city of Pontiac in 1822. The book contains Names, many birth dates and/or ages at death,some relationships are shown, date of death and most (not all) have lot numbers. There are also maps to locate the various areas within the cemetery. According to the introduction, sometime prior to 1906 there was a fire in the cemetery office. Some records were saved and any additional information obtained form loose burial permits is also listed. SL2
