Note: This book includes material from numerous states: Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, the Carolinas, Delaware, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. It contains references to New Englanders found in the court records of other states, Virginia head rights, Maryland's next of kin, and Newcasle County, Delaware tax list of 1776, to name only a few. This is a rare and little known work. The writer Hannah Milnor (Robison) Ljungstedt was born in 1858 and died in 1942. The note-books were originally published separately. Mrs. Mary K. The average description of an individual is only 2 lines so it doesn't go into much detail. It includes every settler regardless of rank in society. This is supposedly the most valuable tool for finding information about old New England families (although I think that the Genealogical Dictionary of ME & NH is just as valuable).
