"Mean as Hell: The Life of a New Mexico Lawman." Dee Harkey, Ancient City Press, 1948. Author grew up in Texas, and became a lawman for New Mexico. Autobiography with many references to people, places and "unlawful" events. Author was born in 1866, and the story goes from there. TP3
