Lookup Permission Statement

Statement which Books We Own needs to have from Copyright Holders:

I grant non-exclusive permission for individuals to do lookups for Books We Own from my publications. I am not forfeiting my rights under 17 USCode Section 106.

Using this form:

For each Copyrighted book, print a copy of this form and submit it to the publisher, care of the author, or to the author directly if the book is self-published. There are a number of sites on the web that can help you locate publishers' addresses. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with each form.

When you receive a form back from the publisher/author, send an email to the List Editor, Jenny Tenlen. Include the title of the book, the extent of permission granted for lookups, and the name/address of the person who granted permission. KEEP THE ORIGINAL IN YOUR RECORDS!

If there is a concern with abuse of copyright for a particular book, the List Editor will notify you by email, and request a copy of the Lookup Permission Form for that book.
