GALVIN, E.R.

After a prosperous career as a lawyer, passed away, two years since, leaving the details of his life yet fresh in menís minds. The earlier part of his legal career was passed in Columbia, where he became Justice of the Peace. Remov≠ing afterward to Sonora, he held the office of District Attorney for two terms. A man of uncommon talents and shrewdness, and an able rival of the lawyers of his day.
