2006 Celebration of Languages and Cultures

Baltic Lodge participated together with Soldalen Lodge, the Sons of Norway, in the third annual Celebration of Languages and Cultures in San Bernardino. The festival is usually held on the third Saturday in January and, having outgrown its original location at the San Bernardino Board of Education building, this year's celebration took place in the Carousel Mall. It was arranged by the City of San Bernardino, the International Council of San Bernardino, San Bernardino County and City Schools, Cal State University at SB, and the Carousel Mall.

Below is a collection of pictures from the event, including  the table Baltic shared with Soldalen, and of  the Vasa Junior Folk Dancers, who were a huge success with the international audience.

VASA JUNIOR FOLK DANCERS The first four photos show the performance on the main stage. The last two show a demo performance with audience participation--very much enjoyed by the participants and the audience.
