Baltic Lodge Programs and Events

 

Santa Lucia is a cherished Scandinavian tradition. Santa Lucia's Day is December 13, when young girls dressed in white, and with a wreath with candles (now mostly battery-operated) in their hair serve their families special saffron rolls and sing the Lucia song. Above is Baltic's 2001 Lucia, Debbie Scarpantino, who also was Baltics very first Lucia.

Potluck parties are popular social events, where a marvelous variety of Scandinavian delicacies are savored and recipes shared.

 

Show-and-tell events are among our most popular programs. Members and guests bring keepsakes, pictures and other  memorabilia and share their stories.
