Greetings, I want to Welcome you to our beautiful California State web site. Colonial Dames 17th Century is a very special group of ladies. Our society honors our Colonial Ancestors that were here in America before 1701. Our members have to prove, by doing research and documentation, that they are direct descendants from the most extraordinary people and adventurers that ever lived. Through their faith and perseverance, our 17th Century ancestors laid the foundation for our great country. They started it all. We have 20 chapters in California. Our three original chapters, Williamsburg, Sleepy Hollow and Plymouth have all celebrated their 60 year anniversaries. We have several chapters celebrating 50 plus years. Our society preserves and collects colonial records and we preserve historic sites. We have several charitable and patriotic projects. We support State and National scholarships. We have the largest collection of Heraldry and Coats of Arms housed in our National Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The “California Girls” are very dedicated to our wonderful Society and they are so proud of their well-deserved membership in the National Society Colonial Dames 17th Century. Please enjoy our website.

In Love and Fellowship in Our Society,

Diana Robertson
