Speakers with expertise in various aspects of genealogy present programs of interest at monthly meetings. Workshops are taught by known lecturers, authors and researchers. , in the Turrentine Room of the Escondido Public Library at 239 South Kalmia St, Escondido, CA 92025. February 25, 2012	Annual Luncheon. The topic will be "War of 1812 Ancestor or story of ancestor with military related service.". So start thinking of your stories to share. At Vinz Tasting Room, 201 East Grand Ave Escondido, CA 92025 at 11 am. Vinz has a private room located between its two places of business. On the corner of Grand and Kalmia there is a Wine Bar/sandwich shop, then a few feet down the walk is an outside dining area and the Continental Deli. Enter thru the outside dining area and proceed to the dining room. The location WILL BE marked. There is plenty of free parking across the street in Public Lot 4 – across the street from the Public Library. June 23, 2012	Annual Picnic - Come celebrate the beginning of summer break. Felicita Park at 11:00 am. This is a potluck so bring a dish to share. Hot dogs and cold drinks will be available at a cost of $2 per person. Don't forget to bring a folding chair. We will also be doing a "Show and Tell" so bring a story or a piece of family memorabilia to share.

November 24, 2012	Elections, Craft and Bake Sale, Roundtable. It is not too soon to start working on your special craft that the Society can sell. Come and bring a craft, food or book to sell to other and raise funds for the club.
December 8, 2012 4 pm to ??	Christmas Potluck Party. Host and Location to be Determined. Bring a side dish or dessert to share with others. Ham, drinks, and plates to be provided by the club. Please call or email Barbara to let her know if you plan on attending.
