FCGS Mission Statement

The Fresno County Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization established in 1965 to:

1. Foster and support genealogical and historical interest in Fresno and the surrounding communities,
2. Collect and preserve genealogical and historical data,
3. Aid society members and the general public in compiling genealogies and genealogical research,
4. Establish and maintain a genealogical library which is the private property of the society, and
5. Publish The Jotted Line, the Ash Tree Echo, and other publications containing helpful information for family research.

In keeping with these and other goals, the society holds general monthly meetings. See our Activities Calendar for details. All visitors are welcome.
