Page 251 lives thirteen and a halt miles from Sacramento, in Antelope, which is his Post Office; was born in California in 1856, and has lived in the State all his life; he settled in this county in 1877, when he bought out the Antelope Business Association in that town, and has since carried on the mercantile business there. Mr. Berry holds the positions of Postmaster, Rail Road Agent and Telegraph operator; he is also in charge of the warehouse belonging to J. F. Cross.
