Page 271. lives three miles from Florin, his Post Office, and twelve miles from Sacramento; was born in New Hampshire in 1832; he removed to Ohio, with his parents, in 1844, and lived there until 1849, when he went to Illinois, and remained there until 1855; he then went to Iowa, and was farming there about nine years; then, moving to Nebraska, he resided there until 1871; he came to this State in that year, and settled where he is now living engaged in farming and stock-raising; owns one hundred and sixty acres of land, worth, with improvements, about $5,000. He was married, in 1854, to Miss Susan D. Arnold, a native of Vermont; they have five sons and a daughter, living. Mr. Buell's father is still living; his mother has been dead a number of years.
