Post Office, Walsh Station; lives eight miles from Elk Grove and eleven miles from Sacramento; was born in Bradford County, New York, in 1824, and lived there until 1860; he came to California in that year across the plains with an ox team and settled in this county, where he has since resided; owns four hundred and twenty-five acres of land, worth, with improvements, about $7,000. Mr. Campbell was married in 1849 to Miss Polly Tice, a native of New York State; they have three children two boys and a girl.
