AMY CHATFIELD Transcribed by: Nancy Pratt Melton This file is part of the California Genealogy & History Archives http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cagha/index.htm BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP Page 247 Post Office, Walsh Station; was born in New York, in 1829; she removed to Michigan in 1834, and lived there until 1852; she came to California in that year, across the plains, and lived in Stockton until 1869, when she moved to this county. She was married, in 1843, to H. B. Chatfield, also a native of New York, and by whom she had six children three sons, and three daughters. Mr. Chatfield died in 1870.
