	lives twelve miles from Sacramento on the Sacramento River; owns 
two hundred and sixty-two acres of land; was born in Ireland in 1840; he 
emigrated to the United States in 1859; he came to California in 1868, and 
settled in this county, where he is now engaged in farming.
