They have the only exclusively grocery and provision store in the place. They formed their partnership and opened with a complete new stock in February, 1888. The building is of brick, seventy-five feet deep, in the center of the business portion of the town, and is full of a well-kept stock of goods. They are both young men of good business habits and are deserving of the large trade which they have. They are also agents for Wells, Fargo & Co. Mr. Dalglish was born in Ottawa, Canada, October 25, 1859, came to the United States in 1887, and has declared his intention to become a citizen of this land of his adoption. He is of Scotch descent. He is a member of the Business Men's Association of Elsinore and is one of the committee on immigration statistics and publications, and also of the committee on money loans and openings for capital. Mr. Saulter was born in Peterboro, Canada, in 1865, and is of English descent. He is married to Miss Maggie Dalglish, a sister of his partner, and also a native of Canada. They are both young business men who have a bright future before them.
