FRANCIS B. GUTHRIE, of the firm of Well, Guthrie & Lee, is a Pennsylvanian, who 
graduated at Jefferson college, Philadelphia, and was admitted to the bar March 
14, 1859, and practiced law at Warren and at Titusville, Pennsylvania, and came 
to Los Angeles in the fall of 1888.
