Educated at the Classical Academy of the Carmelites and at All Hallows College, Dublin, Ireland, graduating in 1872. Consecrated to the priesthood at All Hallows College, June 24; came to Southern California the same year and has filled various charges in the State, having been located at Santa Monica since 1886. Father Hawe has erected a goodly number of churches and schools, and his priestly labors have been long, arduous and effective. He is admired and beloved both as a man and a minister of the Gospel.
