HILL, Los Angeles Born Lebanon, Ky., 1857 and educated at St. Mary's College, that state. Admitted to Ky. bar, 1879; elected clerk of Marion Circuit Court, 1880; reelected, 1886; soon afterward resigned to engage in the practice of law; also became interested in banking, and for many years was either a director or Pres. of Kentucky banks. Came to Los Angeles, September, 1909, and organized the Los Angeles Hibernian Savings Bank, which opened June 1, 1910, with Mr. Hill as Pres. From the first its growth has been remarkable; Mr. Hill giving his entire attention to its establishment and development. Being a skilled lawyer, equips him as an efficient and successful banker.
