	farming; lives on Freeport road, three miles from 
Sacramento, her Post Office. Owns one hundred and seventy-three acres of land, 
valued at about $8,000. Born in Athens County, Ohio, in 1829. Moved with parents 
to Missouri when she was quite young. In 1852 she crossed the plains to this 
State, and settled in Sacramento in 1855. Moved to present place of residence, 
where she has devoted her time to farming. She was married to John S. Wilson in 
1848. He was born in Tennessee. He died in this county in 1868. They had six 
children four sons and two daughters. Lost one son. She married John Hoffman in 
1876.
