ROBERT E. LEE

ROBERT E. LEE was born in Watsonville, Santa Cruz County, California, September 21, 
1866. His parents, Robert F. and Mary F. Lee, were both of Irish descent, and came 
from Ireland to America in the year 1850, remaining in the Eastern States some years 
before making California their home. Young Lee journeyed to San Luis Obispo in the 
year 1874, and has made that city his home ever since. He is a printer by trade, having 
established himself in that business in 1882. Is a prominent member of the Native Sons 
of the Golden West.
